It’s time to reveal another Bean’s favorite spots in Munich!

Conveniently, Sonja’s epitome of summer is the huge garden she shares with her two artist roommates, an 8 year old girl and a cat in Freimann. Mostly, because they grow their own fruits and vegetables and have a big terrace to hang around on sunny days. When she isn’t having barbecues in the backyard with some friends, Sonja likes to eat Lebanese pizza at Manouche or Italian pasta at La Fattoria; for afterwork drinks she mostly stops by Bikini Mitte to have Pastis served by Kathi. For a break from the city hustle, she recommends visiting the Salisianerkloster in Beuerberg near Bad Tölz. Close by you can wander around the Osterseen, have a fantastic lunch in the monastery kitchen “Klosterküche” and stroll through the exhibition about the former nuns’ lifestyle and education. Although Sonja is everything but catholic, this is a perfect Sunday getaway for her.
