Life has moments, in which all you can do is to have the fingers crossed and to trust in the fact that everything is going to turn out right. It hasn’t always been that easy for Ryu Hyama, founder of our new label Fingers Crossed, though. Nevertheless he is a good example of how a vision and passion can help to achieve one’s goals in life. Having studied mechanical engeneering, Ryu Hyama noticed that he would rather like design fashion than planes. Therefore, he starts his foundation at the Fashion Institute of Technology and later on establishes his own label Fingers Crossed with which he seeks to combine form and function of a cloth. And we can’t deny that this approach is quite similar to building planes!
